Posted by Newsweek on March 06, 2018 12:29:24The wood-firing board at Wooden serving restaurant in downtown San Francisco has been in service for more than 60 years.
It’s not an ordinary board.
The wood is a mix of birch and beech, the wood has been aged, and it’s handcrafted.
The boards are used to fire up an entire house, which is why you can hear the rustling of the fire.
But what really sets the board apart from other boards is that it can be used as a stand-alone unit for the kitchen or as an outdoor dining table.
In a sense, the Wooden is a restaurant, but it’s not just a restaurant.
It was designed and built by the founder of Wooden and a husband and wife team of chefs.
The Wooden serves a menu of different meats, including duck, lamb, lamb and chicken.
Wooden’s owners say it’s designed to be a dining room table that’s cozy and inviting.
The kitchen is the home of the restaurant, where you can dine with friends, get to know your family, and grab a quick meal before the work day.
But if you want to take the Wood, you’ll need to get a reservation in advance.
