Google has just updated its Google Reader app for Android to version 1.0.2, which adds a new feature that will automatically start reading the new Google Reader on any Android device running Android 4.4 KitKat.
That means the Google Reader reader on your phone and tablet can now be opened, paused, and resumed.
The app’s already available on the Google Play Store, and you can grab the updated version of the app from the app’s download page.
While it’s unclear when this feature will make its way to Google’s own Reader app, we can expect to see it soon.
