The credit card giant has started offering a login option for customers who are currently logged into its platform and are interested in accessing its payment systems.
The new feature, which is only available to customers who have the Amex Mastercard debit card, is a pilot programme which is being rolled out across the company’s online payment platform.
The service will be rolled out to a wider range of users in the coming months, a spokesperson for the company said.
The feature will be available to anyone who is currently logged in to the payment system, who has the Mastercard Debit card and who has an account on the company platform.
It is available for free for users who are already paying in the platform.
Users will be able to log in to a customer account on Amex’s platform by visiting the website www.amex.com/login and selecting the login option.
Users who are not logged into the platform will be presented with a login page that can be viewed in the browser.
The login page can also be accessed by clicking the “Log In” button at the top of the page and selecting a password from the dropdown menu.
It will be automatically stored in the customer’s Amex Account so that it can be used again in future.
The service will also be available in the AmEX mobile app.
A new user interface is also being introduced to the platform that can enable the payment card holder to add the AmixCard and/or Amex Serve login credentials, as well as log in and out of the payment platform using their own email addresses.
The Amex Pay platform will remain a single, integrated system.
Users can access it by visiting www.mgrs.com and clicking the login button at top of their website.
